Smokey the Bear told me that only I can prevent forest fires. I'm going to be so damn busy. I wish someone could help, but they can't. Only I can prevent forest fires.

At least for a while. After that while of time elapsed I found certain levels tricky enough to try my patience a bit (specifically the dark/ghost levels). Perhaps that's just me and my own personal patience level showing through. Overall the game was pretty well done, the music was decent enough and even though my patience was tried for a bit there, the game kept my interest long enough for me to want to beat it and not give up like I do with other games that aren't as interesting but are just as tough, if not more.

got it, thanks a lot!

Apart from the known issues that you've apparently addressed (ricochet bug/cheat, and the speed challenges - specifically the Luger, SMG, Riot Shotgun), it was a pretty fun game to play.
I would've liked some sorta soft catchy background music though.

But in a good, fun way. I enjoy your unique Karoshi game objective of needing to kill yourself (and other Karoshi) to complete a stage instead of getting to an exit, although the death itself is a type of exit.
I think you've found a nice balance with each stage's puzzle. They weren't difficult enough to force me to look elsewhere to find a solution, but they were tricky enough to make sure I used my brain every once in a while.
I like how you kept the game-play simple for the most part, utilizing the arrow keys almost exclusively. As for the animation and music, they weren't great, but then they didn't need to be. I don't play puzzle games to be blown away the audio and visual effects.
All in all, good stuff.

It has a kind of "Deal Or No Deal" feel to it.
But I don't see the point in the peek function, other than if you're afraid of what you might get. Once you select a card and peek, you can't choose the other one. Which may or may not be a good thing. I just think that it is unneccessary.

Unless it's a proper name (and it very well could be as it was capitalized) you misspelled Vengeance. Sorry, I'm sure I'm not the only one to point that out, but it's a pet peeve of mine.
As for the movie itself, I felt it was up to par but nothing spectacular. There is a subtle increase in detail in this movie in comparison to your previous entries, as there should be. Still, I think Madness has lost a bit of its edge, and this entry didn't excite me as much as your originals.

I used to play a coin operated arcade game of this same type, of which it's name escapes me. I spent many a dollar playing it. This game surpasses that one basically every way.
Author's Response:
thanks - the game would be raiden or 1942 or something like it : - )

These KFK Adventures are pretty sweet, and a nice divergence from the usual characters from CU. I just wish I saw more of Dark Ninja.
This episode in particular was quite good. Makes me remember when I had my Voltron.

How do these not get into the top 5 monthly? Seriously the storyline kicks ass, and it's great how you integrate both audio and visuals from SC, but not need the viewer have to play the game to follow along.
Author's Response:
Yea, and that peice of shit Steve Irwin tribute got a top 5 monthly, and if you look back on p-bots posts, I should've had daily feature that day, p-bot screwed up - crikey! Not that I get pissed off about that ... heh. I guess it's just not as widely accessable as some others eventhough it can stand alone - I guess people who don't know SC just don't watch them? I'll get a top5 monthly one day, it's my goal. Maybe not with this series, but one day... heh.

As long as they're done as well as this one. BBA is one of my favorite games on the DS and this does it justice.
The only possible flaw I see in this is your usage of blue teleporters and a blue object ball at the same time. Then again, I guess that can be just more of a mental workout too.
